DAY TWO: GROUP COACHING EXPERIENCE
Sermon formation is a group coaching experience. In a small group setting, each participant will preach a live 7-10 minute sermon for peer group reflection. Together, the group listens to the sermon and develops questions based on the preacher’s desired elements of focus. With the guidance of the coach, the group helps the preacher in focus to hear how others encounter their sermon, work through desired elements of feedback, and to think through next steps for development.
